Nexus 5x thought

Google just announced the nexus 5x, which is a new version of the original 5 inch flagship, this is made by LG which has made several nexus devices in the past.
The main feature that stands out to me is the fingerprint sensor, on the back, this makes sense as it is the natural way to hold a phone, we seen this feature before on a Motorola device a few years back, the 5 inch screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 and is lcd, this means it won't every good outside, as for the size, I think it is the perfect screen size, the camera has a 12.3 megapixel camera and can shoot 4K video, pretty standard for. 2015.
It has a Qualcomm snapdragon 808 processor, again pretty standard for a flagship phone, to be honest we can't tell much until we test it but we expect it to be a very capable phone.

Microsoft October 6 Event Expectations

Well, it's that time of year again and it's time for Microsoft to unveil its new products.
Some people have been given an invite to a Microsoft event in October, so this is what is expected.

Surface Pro 4
Well it is all rumours but I am hoping and expecting the normal 12 inch tablet alongside a new and bigger 14 inch, this will make it a lot better to use and you could do more stuff, I expect the design to stay somewhat the same.
It will probably have the new sky lake Intel i5/i7 chips, with possibly a cheaper Intel core M for the masses, I also expect the the stylus to be better to rival the iPad Pro, the surface has always been my favourite choice for a Windows laptop, although I Mainly use MacBooks, but this iPad all the things I need, portability, powerful processor, decent screen etc.

Microsoft Band
This is the fitness band and the smart watch, but it always seems pointless, it couldn't do much apart from notifications and track how many steps you took, hopefully that will change with the next generation, I am hoping it will have a square or circular display, although this seem unlikely, hopefully it will have massive improvements anyway.

New Lumias
It was last Microsoft unveiled their own versions of the Lumia Phone, these were low budget phones, so expect to see the 2nd Generation on Some of these devices, mainy people have been complaining that their aren't any 'flagship' phones, so I expect to see new phones in the 400 dollars region. These will have top of the line specs and will come with Windows 10.

Hololens
Don't expect to see the big release with this, but I'd say this will get a mention and maybe a release date and price.

Cant wait for this event and cant wait to try the new products when they are released.

iPhone 6s should you upgrade?

the iPhone 6s has just been announced and your able to preorder today, so if you have an iPhone 6, then no, not really, is the same with all the s models, all it is is improvement, although they are significant improvements, some of them are useless, like the 3d touch, which is different from force touch in some way, it is unnessasary, who are you going to need it, most people will forget about it, the only reason I see to upgrade the processor, which is the new A9 chip, with M9 motion sensor integrated.
One thing that is new is he 7000 series aluminium, so for the 6 plus users, it is a good reason to upgrade, but if you want the 4.7 inch.
Again one more thing about the body, if your a girl...or boy, then you may be interested in the new rose gold, which I think is ugly, but that's my opinion.
So should you upgrade here's a list

iPhone 6- no
iPhone 6 plus - a good idea
iPhone 5s- really your own choice
iPhone 5- yes
iPhone 4/4s - definitely
I think it will be a huge success, however the 3d touch is just so it will sell, it is cool, but now real practibility.

As I said, it is some upgrades, if you want to upgrade go ahead, but if you want something different, look to android or wait a year till the iPhone 7.

iPad Pro Impressions

The iPad Pro has just been announced and it was my favourite device at apples event, for me it is the one I would use the most, I no longer withhold my judgements of being just a bigger iPad, it has capabilities to rival the Surface Pro 3, of course we can't know for sure until it is out, but I may take this over the surface.
The surface is the closest thing to the iPad but the iPad is more tablet than laptop, and if you want full OSX apps, then the MacBook will be a better option, but if you want a device to do occasional productivity in iMovie or GarageBand but mainly for media consumption then this's for you, but I will assume that a lot more capable apps will be released with a lot more feature, I would love to see Logic Pro on it.
Now the price is a very steep 799 dollars although it matches the surface pretty well, now, you will need to get the accesossories, the apple pencil and keyboard, which are absolutely ridiculous, 99 dollars for the pencil and 170 for the keyboard, it's not more expensive than the surface accessories.
That being said, some people live in the apple universe, so. This is perfect for someone who wants a surface but with the connectivity with your apple devices ( which is me ), while on the other side, you have the people who live in the Microsoft universe, so the surface will be better for you.
In all honesty, if you want an apple device for editing, with portability, the 13 inchMacBook Air ( which is in the same price range), will be better for you, but I will love the iPad Pro, because it's more for me, and it willnot replace my MacBook Pro, but it is an alternative.

Sonys new 4k phone thoughts

as I am sure most of you know, the new Sony xperia Z5 Premium has 4k so is it pointless
To me, it looks like a gymic, it is a breakthrough technology but for the average person, I think 1920x1280 is just fine for most people, and a problem I see, this is going to be only one of a few 4k phones, so when it comes time to replace it, you probably need to go back to a smaller res phone, which may not sound like a problem but it will be annoying.
All this is, is to show off, for some publicity for Sony.
Being a Z series phone, it is waterproof which I love and is very useful for me as I do a lot of watersports, it has a the top processor for 2015 which of course the snapdragon 810, which is  a razor fast professor, so specs won't let you down and neither will the camera with 23mp.
As with a lot of phones coming out is 64 bit which means nothing really.
Going back to the display, it is 5.5 inches which to me is ending the realm of what a phone is.
As I said all it is is an overpriced experiment to get the blogs talking.

Apple 'Hey Siri' Event Expectations

Personally, I can't wait for the Special event on September 9, lets talk through what to expect:

Apple TV 4th Generation
Its been 2 years since Apple updated it but its finally coming, I is expected to have an IOS 7 look and feel to it with a lot more subscriptions to rival Netflix and Amazon, it is also expected to have Gaming Support, but nothing beats and Xbox, the design is meant to hold the same with smaller dimensions, I can't wait for this and this will be one of the highlights of the event.

iPad Pro
In 2012, apple released the iPad Mini, in all its glory it was an outstanding success, it was made to rival tablets like the nexus 7, but apple have never really had anything to rival the Microsoft Surface ( a tablet, not a the Macbook), the iPad pro is meant to be thinner than the Air, but the problem is that it will only run IOS 9, so like the iPad to iPhone, it is just a scaled up version of the iPad, now it does have Split Screen view, but apart from some slight multi-taking activities, the Air 3 will do me just fine, although for developers or large businesses, it will be a huge help, but for us average folk, the normal size iPad is fine, but because of apples influence on the world it will be a huge success

IOS 9
Again, its that time of year again, time for the apple updates, nothing major here, just some tweaks and improvements, Spotlight has been moved to the side like some android devices, and now has Siri Suggestions, speaking of Siri, He has had a makeover, he can also now control Apple Music and reminders. Also one of the biggest features for me is an app for iCloud drive, so all your document are in one place, there are some smaller updates like in notes you can add a checklist, which is kind of a signs that reminders is dying out.

OSX El Capitan
Once again, all it is is some tweaks and improvements, with split screen view which has been on Windows for years, and finding the cursor easier ( also on Windows), there isn't much to say and Notes is also improved, Maps is also improved with Transit, which won't be used that much i don't think as people will us there iPhones for that.

iPhone 6s
As with all S iPhones, it is usually just improvements ( theres that keyword again), it meant to have the same screen sizes, but the camera is meant to be improved with a 12 megapixel camera, the big is the 2000 series aluminium, which means for the 6s+ users, No more bending, Yayy.
Touch ID is meant to be improved with apple pay, also it is rumoured there is going to be a pink iPhone out there, Woohoo!, Maybe force touch will be added

iPad Air 3
I don't think they can make an iPad air any thinner without getting rid of the 3.5mm Jack, which will be hated by millions over the world, so I expect the iPad air 3 to be the same design and dimensions,
now specs are meant to improve with the super fast A9x chip, which will out run its rivals for and fast, apart from that don't expect much for the iPad air. Also Force touch may be added

iPad Mini 4
Not much is known about this, but if the iPads and iPhones get force touch, this probably will too, I am hoping for this to have an A9x chip but who knows, the iPad mini 3 just added touch ID

These are just rumours, this could all be different but this is a good possibility of what is to come at the September 9 event, for people who don't know, it is live and 6pm GMT Time

Moto 360 2nd Gen Thoughts

My thoughts of the Motorola Moto 360

Where to begin, I guess with MotoMaker, this has to be the best way to customise any Motorola, with so many options it has taken the Apple Watch out of the top of customising. The Bezel can be a different colour from the Shell, that is impressive.
Now the looks, it is the most beautiful Smartwatch on the market from my point of view and it looks like a watch, its circular, it has actual watch faces, and a good thing is that it is discrete, for common folk it looks like a watch, however everyone notices the apple watch.
Now the most useful thing for me, is that it can now be used with an iPhone, although i have an Moto G as well, but one problem is that you can't reply to iMessages from it.
Now as with all operating systems, as time goes on it gets better or worse (windows 8!), but Android wear has been an amazing operating from the start, even though it basically only shows Notifications, Google has taken the approach of using a watch for notifications and Apple have taken the approach that the watch should be used for answering them as well.
I havent mentioned the Elephant in the room yet, which is the Sizes and Types. Compared to the 1st Gen which had one, it comes in 2 sizes, a 42mm and a 46mm, for the 42mm, you have a mens and women, with the 46 only having mens, of course it doesn't really matter but thats what its branded as.
there are 2 types of watch, the normal and sport, although I won't go into detail with the sport as it is a separate watch.
My final thoughts are that this will be the main runner for the 2015/16 period and it gives the apple watch a run for its money, although the operating system is the main thing that lets it down with limited capability to socialise without your phone, but I am sure that will change with time. What this watch has is the Looks, Personality, Reputation and User friendly colours.

That is my thoughts on the Motorola Moto 360 2nd generation
